Kick:Jumme Ki Raat’ on this Friday launched by Salman Khan

Even as the trailer of Kick has become all the rage on YouTube with more than 6 million hits in six days, the film’s first song featuring Salman Khan will be released Friday, June 20.

Since Friday is an auspicious day for Muslims, the film’s director-producer Sajid Nadiadwala and leading actor Salman Khan have decided to release the song titled ‘Jumme Ki Raat’ tomorrow. The song is said to be an out and out fun track with all the masala that Salman fans crave for.

“The song is a treat for all Salman fans. It has been shot in underground style on a lavish scale. We have tried to give it an edgy and grungy feel,” Sajid Nadiadwala is quoted as saying by TOI.

‘Jumme Ki Raat’ has been filmed on Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez. It’s choreographed by Ahmed Khan.

Kick is a remake of the 2009 Telugu film of the same name. The remake stars Salman as a suave and swift thief who goes by the name Devil. Randeep Hooda plays the cop on his trail. The supporting roles are played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Saurabh Shukla.

Kick will hit theatres on Eid in July. A prelude to the coming festive season starts this Friday with 'Jumme Ki Raat'.

The trailer, launched at a star studded event in Gaiety, Bandra has crossed 49,000 likes at the fastest pace, breaking all records in its wake. Salman fans have shown their love towards their favorite actor by sharing and tweeting the trailer making it the most viewed trailer in the recent times.

Arbaz: 'Kick' will be Salman's biggest hit ever

Filmmaker Arbaaz Khan was "blown away" after watching the trailer of "Kick" and predicts that the film will turn out to his superstar brother Salman Khan's biggest hit.

"The trailer of 'Kick' is outstanding. After watching it I was blown away," Arbaaz told reporters here Tuesday at the Gillette initiative - Because You Are A Role Model.

"I am pretty sure that the film will be Salman's biggest hit, inshallah," he added.

Salman's last release was "Jai Ho", which got mixed response at the box office. However, he looks impressive in the promos of "Kick" packed with his different avatars, including a mask appearance and daredevil stunts on s bike and a cycle.

The film is also important for producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who is making his directorial debut with it.

Meanwhile, Arbaaz, 46, is looking forward to the film and is very much impressed with Salman's look and character in the film.


"Right from the film's look to the way it has been shot, the way his character is looking in the film, I personally feel this film will be a 'dhamaka'. A big blockbuster is awaiting us," Arbaaz said.

"Lets see how much audience will appreciate it but I personally feel 'Kick' should be a very big hit," he added.

Slated to release this Eid, "Kick" also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Preity Zinta – Ness Wadia Fight Intensifies

The Preity Zinta –Ness Wadia fight has taken an ugly turn. The Marine Drive police are in charge of a CCTV coverage which shows that Ness Wadia abused a legendary cricketer's teenage son at the Garware Pavilion in Wankhede stadium.

Salman Khan Has More Tantrums Than His Actresses!

At the trailer launch of his upcoming film Kick, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan stated that he doesn't work with actresses who throw tantrums, as he himself has a lot of tantrums.
Talking about his leading lady Jacqueline Fernandez, the actor said, ''Jacqueline is a very simple girl with no complications and no tantrums, which other heroines usually come with. Though I have never worked with actresses who throw tantrums as I throw so many tantrums myself that if anyone throws more tantrums than that then producer will chuck them off from the movie.''
Directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film is slated to hit the theaters on Eid.

OMG! Ness Wadia molested Preity Zinta

Actress files police complaint, alleges her industrialist ex-boyfriend verbally abused her and pulled her hand in front of spectators during the IPL play-off match between Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings at Wankhede stadium on May 30

Actress Preity Zinta has registered a case against her ex-boyfriend Ness Wadia, with whom she jointly owns Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), for allegedly hurling abuses at her and pulling her hand while she was trying to leave during the IPL's play-off between their team and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Wankhede Stadium on May 30.



Based on Zinta's complaint, Marine Drive police have registered a case of outraging modesty, insult and criminal intimidation against Wadia.

The actress and Wadia had ended their relationship in 2009. Zinta approached the Marine Drive police station on Thursday night, nearly two weeks after the incident, and registered an FIR against Wadia. The FIR states that Wadia had hurled abuses at Preity during the KXIP vs CSK match at Wankhede Stadium around 8 pm on May 30.

Preity says in the FIR that she asked Wadia to stop, but he threatened her instead. Based on Zinta's complaint, the Marine Drive police have registered a case against Wadia under sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code. `We have registered an FIR and investigations have begun.

Our job will be to record statements of witnesses first, and only then will we question Wadia,` said Pravin Chinchalkar, senior police inspector at Marine Drive police station. Varun Soni, a spokesperson from the Wadia Group, said, `We can't comment on the matter until we see the FIR.` Preity Zinta's spokesperson said she is travelling and, hence, cannot comment on the matter.

Salman Khan to launch 'Kick' trailer with fans at Gaiety Galaxy theatre

Much to the joy of all his fans, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will launch the 'Kick' trailer with fans at a single screen theatre in Mumbai.

"Dabangg" superstar Salman Khan has decided to release the trailer of his much-awaited film "Kick" at the single screen theatre Gaiety Galaxy here in the midst of his fans Sunday.

The movie screenings at the theatre have been cancelled to accommodate Salman's plan.

"Salman has a huge fan following and he considers single screens very lucky for him, so he has decided to release the trailer of the film at Gaiety Galaxy June 15 with his fans," Manoj Desai, executive director, Gaiety Galaxy and Maratha Mandir Cinema, told IANS.

"We have cancelled the shows from 12 p.m. to 6 a.m. for that day as Salman Khan has booked the screen during that time," added Desai.
